Meet our Team

David Angel
Goach co-founder, software engineer

I am a recovering golf addict who started developing technology as a healthy substitution to my golf addiction. In all seriousness, Goach is the realization of a dream my wife and I shared when we first started dating.

We wanted to build a golf software product that would truly deliver results and lower scores. I’ve been blessed to be able to couple my burning passion for both golf and software to contribute in building Goach.

Maria Kostina Angel
Goach co-founder

Maria Kostina Angel is a former LPGA Futures Tour professional golfer. She is passionate for the game of golf and is dedicated to share her vast experience through coaching and creating the Goach app.

Through her experience of training at the best Golf academies in the world and playing on the high collegiate, and pro levels – Maria learned how important it is to understand her own game and train with purpose. Her motivation and contribution in creating the Goach app is to share with all golfers her most valued lessons learned.

I learned to play golf in Russia, where I was born and raised.

I came to the United States at the age of 17 with one-way ticket and without speaking the language. Randy Henry, a highly claimed golf instructor and his family hosted me for a year before I went on to play college golf for Washington State University.

After I graduated with a psychology degree I played professional golf for three years as a member of the LPGA Futures Tour. During my playing career I had the privilege of learning from great teachers like Randy Henry and Chuck Hogan.

In 2009 I was proud to become one of Randy Henry’s Certified Teachers and coach in his academy for over 10 years. During this time I had the invaluable experience of coaching local boys and girls Post Falls High School Golf Teams.

I continue to actively coach at Hayden Lake Country Club in beautiful Hayden Lake, Idaho.

Anastasia Kostina
Goach co-founder

Anastasia Kostina is a former LET and LPGA Futures Tour professional golfer.

Anastasia was a member of the Russian National Golf Team 2000-2013.

She graduated from Washington State University with a B.A. in Psychology. While attending WSU, she was a member of Women’s Golf Team and served as Captain her Senior year. In 2022, Anastasia was inducted into WSU Athletic Hall of Fame.

Currently, she is a Director of Junior Golf at Hayden Lake Country Club in Hayden Lake, Idaho.

Playing golf on the collegiate and professional level, I learned the importance of analyzing performance and targeted training in an effort to reach one’s full potential.

My motivation in creating the Goach app is to provide every golfer with tools to more fully understand their own game and to provide individualized, purposeful training for reaching their goals.
