No. Only enter what is asked for on the screen. Our A.I. Engine will figure out the rest. 

When you are in the “Go Play” mode and ready to enter results for any given hole, you will see an information button ⓘ in the top right corner. Tap that button and then tap “View Tutorial”.

 

While you are entering information for any hole, if you click on the actual word itself such as “Approach Shot”, you will see a definition.

The first shot you hit off the Tee.

Any strokes lost from a penalty situation. Example: Out of Bounds, Water Hazards, Unplayable Lies. 

Green Side Bunkers: Any stroke taken from a bunker that is closer than 30 Yards from the green. 

Any stroke taken within 30 Yards of the green that is not a putt or a green side bunker shot.

Any stroke taken on or near the green with your putter.

The total number of strokes taken on the current hole, including any penalty strokes. 

It is only the first shot you are attempting to hit the green. It is not to be confused with Greens in Regulation. Approach Shot can be your 2nd shot or 3rd or 4th, etc. It is the first shot that you are realistically aiming to land on the green.  There can only be one approach shot marked on each hole. Example: if you have to re-hit your approach shot because you missed your first one OB – you only mark your first one in the app. There might be a hole where you don’t input an approach shot. Example: your second shot on a par 4 you are not going for the green and are aiming to hit it within 30y of the green (green is out of range or you are hitting out of trouble). Then you will only input tee shot, chip shot, putts for that hole.

You don’t need to enter your second approach shot. Only enter your first approach shot and the Goach A.I. Engine will figure out the rest. 

Do not mark an “Approach Shot” if you are not attempting to hit the green. 

Enter the actual yardage to the pin. Do not include wind or elevation change.   

Swipe anywhere on the screen or click the double arrows near the top of the screen ≪ ≫ to navigate between holes.

Please let us know and we will add it to our data base. You can still fully enjoy all the benefits of the Goach using very easy Custom Course option. The only difference is that it will prompt you to enter par before each hole.

The relative “score” for every part of you game. This page is a convenient overview of which areas of your golf game are underperforming or over performing compared to your scoring golf goal! The colored bars are the visual representation of the numbers.

Click on the graph icon to the right of the score, for any part of your game you wish to examine in more detail.

You can toggle between “#” and “%” icons to change the view.

Swipe on the bottom of the screen or click the double arrows to navigate between statistics.

Open the “Settings” app on your iOS phone.

Tap your name at the top of the page. 

Tap “Subscriptions.”

Tap the subscription that you want to manage.

Tap “Cancel Subscription.”

99% of the Goach app will work without internet. The only features that won’t work without internet is “How To” videos in Goach Training, “Leaderboards” and “Weather”.

No! All your submitted data is actively stored on our server not your device itself. So if you get a new phone, simply download Goach from the app store, and then sign in using the same email address used on the previous phone.

On the Log In page Click “Forgot my password”

Follow the steps on the screen.



You can simply enter your shots as you play to get an accurate and insightful “Goach Report” for your round.  You can dive into individual areas to analyze what is happening in any given part of your game.  Then Goach will build a targeted training plan designed specifically for you to reach your scoring golf goal. It will make your rounds more insightful and training more purposeful and productive. Goach works for you to improve your play, your golf IQ, and your enjoyment of the game!

The GPS system is only accurate up to 6 meters in either direction. It is just not accurate and dependable enough for the Goach standards.  It is also a huge battery drain on your phone.
